This study was conducted to determine the performance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility at Alliance Select Foods International Incorporated in General Santos City. It also aimed to determine if the facility conforms to the DENR standards as to its effluent going into the Sarangani Bay. Actual survey and investigation were performed to assess the project. It was found out that the actual average volume generated per day is 301.24 m and it is 11.64 m higher than that of the data from Alliance Select Foods International Incorporated, taking into consideration that there were losses and added volume of water transferred to the facility. The results of BOD5, pH level Total Suspended Solids, Arsenic and Mercury analyses show that the company conforms to the DENR standards. The assessments of the actual survey showed that the people living near the facility are aware of the liquid waste management practices and find the project to be beneficial, effective and very satisfactory. Even though the respondents said that the odor was a big problem, actual investigation shows that the odor is produced by the fish meals stacked in the warehouse, not by the treatment facility. Also Safety signs are suggested to lessen the accidents near the facility. In general, the facility was technically effective and public acceptance and good review was evident.
