The study conducted aimed to assess the water quality of the groundwater sources of Barangay Bula, General Santos City that includes pitcher pumps, flowing and deep wells. The parameters that were analyzed were Electrical Conductivity, Hardness, Total Dissolved Solids, pH, Total Suspended Solids and Turbidity. Its main objective is to generate a potability map on the quality of water of the area under study using the QGIS 2.8 software. The results were compared to the standards set by the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW) and World Health Organization (WHO). Assessing the results, it is observed that 90% passed the limiting standard for the parameter Electrical Conductivity, at least 80% falls within the standard value for Hardness while 87% are considered potable for the parameter Total Dissolved Solids. As for the parameter pH and Total Suspended Solids, all of the samples passed the standard value, while for the Turbidity, only 2 samples were rated as Currently Not Potable. In general, using Water Quality Index (WQI), majority of the samples under study passed with an Excellent Rating, and comprises 54% of the total samples. Only one sample falls under the rating "Poor" and "Unfit for Drinking", while the rest is considered as "Good". This suggests that majority of the groundwater are fit for drinking.
