This study sought to provide additional information that focuses on the perception and satisfaction of 4P's beneficiaries with the COVID-19 policies as the government's response amidst the pandemic.
This is a quantitative study that uses linear regression and descriptive- correlational survey research method on the one-hundred (100) 4Ps beneficiaries in Alabel, Sarangani Province. A multistage sampling method is utilized in choosing the respondents from its large population. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
The researcher aimed to find out if there is a relationship between the 4Ps beneficiaries' perception of the extent of COVID-19 policy implementation and their level of satisfaction with this as a government's response amidst the pandemic. The findings revealed that the implementation of COVID-19 policies is "always observed" as perceived by the 4Ps beneficiaries for it has an overall mean of 4.28 with a standard deviation of 0.29. The results also showed that the beneficiaries are "highly satisfied" with the government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lastly, the study concluded that the relationship among variables has a strong correlation.
It is recommended that the government authorities should develop more job opportunities for the undergraduates in the municipality, especially in the 4Ps sector for them to have an additional and much more stable source of income. Conduct seminars on entrepreneurial or business-related topics. It is for the enhancement of the beneficiaries' skills and to be less dependent on the subsidies and benefits given by the 4Ps program. The Department of Social Welfare and Development should come up with policies that would provide equitable additional basic necessities and monetary support to the beneficiaries. Lastly, in connection with the implementation of Special Amelioration Program (SAP) as the lowest indicator, the barangay officials and other executives should ensure that the relief goods and other assistance were distributed fairly to the members along with the proper implementation of the COVID-19 policies.
