CONSUMERS SATISFACTION ON ADOPTION OF DIGITAL TRANSACTION AS A MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE IN POLOMOLOK, SOUTH COTABATO

Abstract

This study mainly focuses to assess the capability of digital transaction based on the satisfactory level of the consumers as it is already existing and widely spreading in the country. This study aims to know the satisfactory level of the consumer in Polomolok South Cotabato towards digital transaction as medium of exchange. The study was conducted in Polomolok mainly in barangay población via google forms. The data was gathered from 48 respondents. In order to come up with a credible result, the questionnaire used was adopted from an existing study and modified. Descriptive statistics were used to evaluate the demographics as well as to measure the level of satisfaction and awareness brought by digital transactions to consumer. According to the findings of this study, Consumers are agreeably satisfied that digital transaction provides a satisfactory efficiency and effectiveness, ease of use and usefulness to their daily transaction in a digital transaction platform. The study also concluded based on the findings that consumers are knowledgeable and aware enough towards digital transaction's security, legitimacy and accuracy. Overall, the researchers concluded that the consumers in Polomolok are satisfied on the adoption of digital transaction as medium of exchange in the province. The findings reflect the readiness of not only the consumer but also the online sellers and digital transaction platform providers.
