The study assessed the employability, extent of use of graduate skills to the present job and adequacy of training received to develop the numerous graduate skills of the respondents. The study focused on the 135 BS Accountancy graduates of Mindanao State University - General Santos City from 2016-2020. This tracer study used descriptive research design. Results of the study revealed that majority of the respondents are gainfully employed in jobs that are related to their course and also most of them are on a regular/permanent status holding professional, technical or supervisory level in organization. The study also found that 46.5% of them landed a job around 1 to 6 months after graduation/taking CPA board exam and 36.5% in less than a month. The respondents noted that good salaries and benefits and good relationship with co-employees are two major reasons why they stay with their present job. The study also discovered that the top three most useful skills to their present job are comprehension skill, critical thinking skill, and problem solving skill. At the same time, the graduates acquired very adequate training from MSU- Gensan to develop these skills. The number one suggestion to improve the course curriculum and employability of the graduates are align curriculum with industry needs and accounting trend and add more exposure on SAP and other accounting software tool, respectively.
