DETERMINING THE LEVEL OF IMPACT OF IDENTIFIED FACTORS TOWARDS PROFITABILITY OF MILK TEA SHOPS IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY: PANDEMIC ERA

Abstract

This study focused on determining the level of impact of identified factors towards profitability of milk tea shops in General Santos City: Pandemic Era. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The target population of the study is 69 milk tea shops in General Santos City. It uses a probability sampling technique and the required data was collected from the sample size of 59 milk tea shops through a five-point Likert Scale questionnaire. The findings of the study, in the internal factors, the level of impact of human resources is a minor effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops. The level of impact of financial management is a neutral effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops. Lastly, the level of impact of physical resources is a moderate effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops. Overall, the level of impact of internal factors is a neutral effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops in General Santos City.

In the external factors, the level of impact of economic is a moderate effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops. In the level of impact of technology, it has a moderate effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops. Lastly, the level of impact of legal factor, it has a major effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops. Overall, the level of impact of external factors is a moderate effect towards the profitability of milk tea shops in General Santos City. The study recommends that researching further into other aspects that might have a major effect on the annual net income.
