This study examined the impact of Covid-19 pandemic to the selected students without stable internet connectivity during the new normal learning mode in Mindanao State University General Santos City.
This is a Quantitative study. It describes the socio-demographic profile of the respondents, determines the Impact of Covid-19 pandemic to the selected students of Mindanao State University General Santos City, know the difficulties of the students in the new normal learning and identify how the students cope up to these problems. To observe situations or events that affect people and produces objective data that can be clearly communicated through statistics and numbers.
The Researcher used purposive sampling procedure as it only chooses the respondent will be the impact of Covid-19 pandemic to the selected students without stable internet connectivity during the new normal learning mode in Mindanao State University General Santos City through quota random sampling to obtain the desired number of respondents to answer specific items.
The findings of this study imply that the students who were enrolled in a Mindanao State University General Santos City where most students experience poor internet connectivity during pandemic and that affect their academic performance.
In conclusion, in this new learning mode, students are experiencing not only poor internet connectivity but also financial difficulties.
This study's recommendations
1. Students should continue their studied despite of poor internet connectivity 2. Parents should support their children in term of financial support and mental health.
3. Teachers should motivate their students and help to maintain focus and use the online flat form in a good way and avoid toxic social media as it cannot help with studies.
4. Teachers should understand the situation of their students.
