INTERMARRIAGE AMONG MAGUINDANAON AND BLAAN IN BARANGAY LANDAN, POLOMOLOK, SOUTH COTABATO

This study is all about the intermarriage of Blaan and Maguindanaon in Barangay Landan, Polomolok, Soouth Cotabato. It tackles about the socio-demographic profile of the subjects in this study. It includes the age, gender, civil status tribe and occupations. Also, the benefits of engaging in intermarriage were tackled in this study. Furthermore, the problems encountered and what are the coping mechanisms being imposed by the individuals that engaged in intermarriage.

The objectives of this study were to understand the socio demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, civil status, tribe and occupation. Also, it aims to identify the benefits in terms of kinship relations, religious affiliations, socio-cultural aspect and property relations. It also aims to identify the challenges/problems encountered by the respondent in terms of parents, relatives, religions, cultural practices and property relations. Lastly, To determine the adjustments made by the respondents in terms of parents, relatives, religions, cultural practices, property relations.
