ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFECTIVITY OF TEACHING METHODOLOGIES OF ALIVE TEACHERS IN SELECTED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN COTABATO CITY

Abstract

This study explores Assessment of the Effectivity of Teaching Methodologies of Alive Teachers in selected elementary school in Cotabato City, in inculcating their pupils with moral values. It examines the extent to which the asatidz used the teaching methodologies of alive class in moral education, as explained to develop the pupils in their Arabic Language and Islamic Values. Success of reading Arabic begins with the strategies of asatidz in language drill, reciting and memorizing. Involvement of asatidz and presence of a books and storytelling in the class motivate the pupils.

This study utilized a descriptive- Assessment of the Effectivity of Teaching Methodologies of Alive Teachers in selected elementary school in Cotabato City during the academic year 2019-2020. A total of ten (10) respondents participated survey. The data gathered from the study were analyzed and interpreted using frequency count and percentage for the analysis of the data.

These, study caught to achieve the following:
1. To Know the Socio-Demographic profile of the respondents.

C. Civil Status
D. Tribal Affiliation
E.Educational Attainment and Experiences
F. Training/Seminar Attended
G.Employment Status
2. To know the teaching methodologies used by the teachers in the teaching of ALIVE classes.

3. To determine the problems encountered by the respondents in the conduct of the teaching methodologies.

4. To know the subjects that alive teachers used in teaching Arabic Language and Islamic Values.
