THE CREATION AND CARRYING ON OF GKK SAN AGUSTIN, PUROK 15 BARANGAY FATIMA, GENERAL SANTOS CITY

Every Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) or GKK created an impact not just on the spiritual aspect of the residents of the place but also on the life and cultural aspect of the members of GKK San Agustin at Purok 15, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City.
The concern of this study is the creation and the carrying on of GKK San Agustin and its importance to the members and the parish. To answer this problem, the researcher uses the critical informant interview and document analysis method, interviewing the present and former GKK officers, members, pioneers, and workers from the parish and analysing the available documents presented.
This research aimed to learn about the history and significance of the GKK San Agustin to its members and the parish. GKK San Agustin had faced common challenges along the way and responded with solutions. The creation of GKK had been significant to the members and the parish due to its role and support.
