The Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) or GKK San Jose in Purok 19 Bayanihan NHA, Barangay Fatima, has created impacts not just on the spiritual aspect of the residents of the place, but it helped in shaping the status quo of Barangay Fatima as well as its history (the written or not). This study aimed to explore and discover the creation and carrying on of the GKK San Jose, the steps in choosing its Patron Saints, the reasons why these particular Saints were chosen, the importance of the GKK in its members and in the parish, the perspective of the GKK Ministry Coordinator on this GKK, and the problems they met as well as the effective solutions undertaken. The result of the study revealed that the GKK San Jose was already created in Calumpang and was brought by the people to Purok 19 Bayanihan NHA. The creation of their chapel was made possible with the cooperation of the members and active officers. The reasons why they chose their patron saints: (1) it was the decision of the majority; (2) it was the original patron saint of the member's place of origin; and (3) personal devotions. The study also revealed that the members also experienced problems such as finances for their GKK, yet this constraint was solved with the help of those generous people.
