THE CREATION AND CARRYING ON OF GKK IMMACULATE CONCEPTION AT PUROK 10B, BARANGAY FATIMA, GENERAL SANTOS CITY

The GKK Immaculate Conception is currently located in Purok 10B, Barangay Fatima, General Santos City. Before it become an independent GKK, it become part of the GKK of Purok 7 of the same locality. The urge of the believers to establish their own religious community paved the way for its creation. Like other GKKs, it is composed of elements necessary for its function to serve its constituents and spread the word of God such as the Kriska Alagad, Liturgist, Choir, and officers chosen by the believers. This study employed qualitative approach using documentary analysis and key informant interview methods in gathering the needed data. The study is about the history of the GKK, who were the people involved in the organization and construction of the GKK, its importance to the parish, the choice of patron saint or devotion, how the GKK was managed for its continuance, and problem met and solution undertaken.
