THE CREATION AND CARRYING ON OF GKK ST. THERESE OF CHILD JESUS AT MC VILLAGE, PUROK 13A, BARANGAY FATIMA, GENERAL SANTOS CITY

Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Barangay Fatima, General Santos City, is composed
of 46 GKKS. One of these GKKS is the GKK St. Therese of Child Jesus at MC Village
Purok 13A, Barangay Fatima. The creation and carrying on of GKK St. Therese is the focus of this study. The researcher used documentary analysis and key informant interviews to make this study successful.
Based on the gathered study, the Parish Church encouraged the creation and carrying on of GKK St. Therese of Child Jesus at MC Village, Barangay Fatima General Santos City. Its history and the members' selection of the patron saint had a significant role in sustaining its GKK up to the present. The members were active and participated in the various activities within their GKK as well as with the Parish. Despite this constant interaction, members and officers faced difficult challenges. Yet, following the missions of the Church, they were able to overcome it.
