Author
FEGIE P. MASALON
Abstract

One language could have variation even seen in the structure of the word and the word affixation. This study sought to determine the Morphological Variations in the language of Blaan words in the areas of; Tango, Glan Sarangani Province, Balsinang Olympog General Santos City, Purok 1, Upper Labay, General Santos City and Landan, Polomolok South Cotabato and the implications in the use of the language of Blaan. The researcher used an adopted questionnaire and interviewed the respondents. Results thereafter were gathered and analyzed through data processing, which creates a summary of information for further analysis. It was proven that there are existing variations in the structure of the word and the word affixation where the word was added to a base form of the word in terms of prefixes and suffixes used by the Blaan speakers in the areas mentioned that lead to miscommunication and word confusion without affecting its context.
