THE INDISPENSABLE HERO: ARCHETYPES OF DORAEMON SERIES

This study analyzed four main characters from the selected 20 Doraemon episodes according to the series of Doraemon series using Archetypes. It is intended to contribute to the development of personality and to serve as a future document for archetypal researchers. The research employed the qualitative approach, the formalistic approach in analyzing the episodes, and character archetypes to determine their personality, and moral approach to identify what are the behaviors portraying in the Doraemon series. The researcher finds that archetypes are based on the personality depicted on the characters. Behaviors are best guide to determine what values identified. The character archetype is one of the most important subjects of Jung theory.
