Abstract

Postcolonialism was already a part of our society and that is why even in films postcolonialism was also included. It gives natural points and despite the many intersections it still gives light on literature. Stereotypes are always present in every society that is why it affects culture. The concept of Homi Bhabha's Location of Culture, According to Bhabha, one should consider expansionism to be clear mistreatment, control, and viciousness just additionally as a time of unpredictable and shifted social contact and collaboration. This paper presents the idea of Postcolonial Stereotyping in Ricky Lee's film and it also presents the idea Homi Bhabha's Location of Culture that connects to Postcolonial culture of the Filipinos.
