This research study aimed to explore and determine the humor in the Filipino viral videos by studying on how Filipinos create humor and their implication to language use in determining their linguistic features such as lexical Choice, intensifier, and paralinguistic and by identifying their linguistic features help to create humor and what is the implication of these linguistic features to language use. The data used in the study are the Top 10 Viral Videos of 2018 retrieved from Pinoy viral videos official data website found on the website https://www.spot.ph. This included (1) Pilipinas Got Talent 2018 Audition with Joven Olvido, (2) "You're Road', (3) Liza Soberano's Fear Box, (4) Tulfo Interview: Complainant sa T3, sinakal ang sariling anak (5) Zamboanga Bridge Collapse, (6) "Advanced ako mag-isip", (7) Super Extra and Funny Luggage Salesman, (8) Meteor Garden (F4) Parody, (9) "Paano Mo Nasabi?", (10) "Obvious ba?". The result common linguistic features that are present in each Filipino viral video are intensifier (79%), lexical choice (6.9%) and paralinguistic cues (14.63%). The implication of these linguistic features to language use in humor can be understood by the meaning of linguistic context reflected in the way the person act, talk, and behave. The language use is a vital tool in entertainment, especially in today's era where everything can be shared so quickly online.
