This study analyzed the Postcolonial Issues in Selected Contemporary Films. This qualitative research discussed and answered the Postcolonial Issues in the films, who are these characters affected by these issues, and how they deal with these issues. The researcher used scholarly articles and collections of journals and studies that have had uploaded on the internet, and read the books numerous times after downloading it. The researcher selected the four (4) films namely: Magnifico (2003), Caregiver (2008), The Woman who Left (2016), and Mindanao (2019). The theory of Homi K. Bhabha "Location of Culture" was used to analyze the Postcolonial issues in each film. He developed a number of essential terms and concepts in the field, including hybridity, mimicry, stereotypes, and ambivalence. Bhabha's work reveals the ways in which colonialism does not remain trapped in the past and is not over and done with.
