Abstract

This research study aimed to explore and determine the Language use of female vloggers by studying the opening of videos of the randomly selected female Filipino vloggers in determining their linguistic features such as Adjectives, Intensifiers, and Avoidance of swear words and by identifying their common topic and what is its implication to Language use. The data used in the study are the most known Female Filipino vloggers in the Philippines including ThatsBella, Raiza Contawi, Andree Bonifacio, Love Marie Escudero. and Kathryn Bernardo. The Common topics used by Female Filipino vloggers in their vlogs are Personal Life, Makeup, Food, Romance, and Travel. These topics indicate that women discuss more of their personal life and experiences which could create indirect interaction with their female audiences. The Linguistic Features that are present in the intro of each vlog from the randomly selected Female Filipino vloggers are intensifiers, Adjectives, and avoidance of swear words. The tool of Language is to communicate and share with the world. In the case of the female vloggers, they share their identities and personality.
