An Emoji is a communicative art; one of the artistic ways of expressing self online and a tool for technological world that is profoundly known in any social media flatforms. In this study, Emojis are the main subject to explain language process and psychological Implication. The data used in this study are the Top 20 Emojis of 2019 ranked by emoji tracking website and other emojis. The researcher studied the Emojis by first, categorizing its type using Novak et al. classification of Emoji. Second, by knowing its Linguistic function of Language using Halliday's Function of Language. Third is knowing its Psychological Implication using Hatfield's Emotional Contagion and lastly by evaluating its process in C. Morris different stages of visual language, after the data gathered and analyzed, the following are its findings: First, an Emoji has several classification, second, an Emoji is multi-functional when it comes to its linguistic function; also an Emoji has its psychological implication. Moreover, emojis has its own process in 3 stages of Visual Language namely: Perception, Manipulation and Consummation, the sender and the receiver of Emoji has their own process on interpreting an Emoji. In general, an Emoji is multidimensional because it can express different meaning to the user and can be widely used in everyday lives such as greetings and expressions or reaction that is timely relevant to Online world.
