The world in which todays children live is in fact different from that one of the past. Today';s generation, students use smart phones, tablets, laptops, instant messaging, Facebook to connect friends, family, and others in their community and around the globe. These social media sites may give them several kinds of information that need to be comprehended constructively. This study aimed to determine the Media Literacy and Language Learning Strategies of Grade 11 Students using descriptive - correlational research design. It involved one hundred ten (110) Grade 11 students who were officially enrolled at Santo NiƱo National High School during the school year 2019- 2020. This study used an adapted questionnaire which were validated by a panel of experts. The findings of the study revealed that the level of media literacy of the students is high on access in media, the way they analyze media context is high and how they evaluate is high as well and create media messages is high this further revealed that they are competent and can cope with the media generation based on their experience on this media literacy. In addition, the extent of SHS students is high or memory strategy in language learning followed by a cognitive strategy, compensation strategy, metacognitive strategy, affective strategy and social strategy, Moreover, the result showed that there is no significant relationship between media literacy and th extent of their language learning strategies. Results of the study may serve as basis fo teachers on how to efficiently utilize media access that support and enhance student'; language learning strategies.
