Abstract
The objective of this experiment is to extract fuel from the plastic (Polyethylene terephthalate) waste, using plastic bottle which are the most abundant in the community. The fuel extraction was conducted by pyrolysis using woods as fuel, fabricated gasifying chamber & condenser for the liquefaction of the expected gaseous fuel. As a result, an unmeasurable amount of liquified gas was observed at the outlet of the condenser tube. However, the extracted matter at the end of the condenser tube abruptly burnt when ignited. Therefore, extraction of fuel from
plastic (Polyethylene Terephthalate) waste is possible.
