Abstract

This study is centered on the construction and feasibility of water wheel as a power source in Brgy. Cabudian, Banga, South Cotabato. A series of testing were made to
determine if the designed water wheel was capable of generating electricity relative to the velocity of the water in the river at Brgy. Cabudian. It was then found out that the water wheel, with a diameter of 3 meters and a width of 35 centimeters, was capable of lighting a 24 V bulb. Results were made by series of trials for 8 days with the river flowing at constant rate (m/s). The water wheel is a feasible power source in Brgy. Cabudian, Banga, South Cotabato.
