Ecevaluate: An Android-Based Board Examination Quiz Application Using Android Studio and SQLite

     Smartphones have a great impact and already became an essential part of our lives. Lt simplifies our routine work and therefore saving some time. As the number of smartphone users are increasing each day, there is an equal increase in the number of application developers for the same. In today's world, almost everything is somehow one way or another connected to our smartphones.

     To take advantage of the technological development happening, the researchers proposed this study. The general objective of the proposed application is to develop Android-Based Quiz Application that contains the four (4) core subject of ECE Board Examination. Also, to utilize Android Studio as android .development platform and use android sqlite database system to create the offline application. The researchers added features to the said application to make learning easier.

     The quiz application contains almost 7000 MCQ type of questions divided into four categories of E.CE Board Exam. The said application can be played in three (3) modes; normal, survival and timed. Problems with sketches and figures were not included in the said application. The proposed application can be a great introduction to the field of android development and usage of databases.

     To achieve the proposed application, the researchers. Follow through several stages in creating the quiz application. Data gathering, in this stage questions are collected and managed. Next stage is to setup the database, DB Browser for sqlite is used to store and compile the data collected. Lastly, is to develop the quiz application in Android Studio.

The researchers successfully developed a functional Android-Based Quiz Application with an external sqlite database embedded in the application.
