Abstract
This study aims to find out which of the two desalination, one designed with insulators and reflectors and one without insulators and reflectors, can generate more desalinated water. The researchers conducted ten (10) days of solar desalination experiment using 3 L of seawater on each set-up per day amounting to a total of 60 L of seawater. The results showed that the desalination with insulators and reflectors was able to produce more desalinated water with a total of 7.5L as compared to only 3.73L of desalinated water generated from desalination without insulators and reflectors. This proves that solar glass desalination with insulators and reflectors is better at generating desalinated water.
