CHAD stands for change dispenser which is a feature of the coin-operated machine in the study. The system can identify old coins or the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas coins and the new generation coins such as 10-peso, 5-peso, and 1-peso coins. 1-peso is sorted mechanically through a rail while 5-peso and 10-peso are sorted using a motor. However, it can only dispense 5-peso and 1-peso coins for transactions requiring change. It has a DMA logging feature that records information every time a transaction is made. This information consists of the current storage amount and the number of each coin denomination in the storage. The system is maneuvered through an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller. CHAD is a system that gains profit without the expense of time and manpower. It can be further improved through the use of It also aims to keep abreast with the fast-rising technology of automation.
