The study determined if vermicompost mixed with commercial feed ration om feed consumption, weight gain, feed conversion ratio (FCR),mortality rate, and income over feed and chick costs (IOFCC) can be a reliable source of nutrients on the growth performance of Cobb broilers that was conducted on February 5 to March 11, 2019 in Poultry House of College of Agriculture, Mindanao State University-General Santos City. The study was laid out in Completely Randomized Design (CRD). Thirty - five heads of day old chicks that were assigned in three (3) treatments of different levels of vermicompost 0,5, 10, 15% in the ration replicated three times with 3 birds per replication. Birds fed with 0% of Vermicompost in the ration has the highest live weight gain weighing an average of 1.33 kg in 35 days duration of the experiment. Those given with 5%, 10 %, and 15 % gained an average of 1.32 kg, 1.31 kg, and 1.25 kg, respectively. Birds fed with 10% of Vermicompost in the ration were the most efficient feed converters with 2.66 kg of feed to gain a kg of weight whereas those in treatments 0%,5%,and 15% needs 2.80 kg, 2.75 kg, and 2.84 kg. There were no mortality observed during the duration of the study. Highest income was obtained from birds with 10% level of Vermicompost in their ration with an income of Php 23.64. Birds with 0%,5%,and 15% of Vermicompost have an income of Php 8.2, Php 16.07, and Php 18.49, respectively.
