Abstract

The study on the effects of Different Levels of Papaya (Carica papaya) Reject Juice Extract added to Water Ration on the growth performance of Cobb Broilers was conducted at the College of Agriculture poultry project from June 5,2018-July 10, 2018. A total of 36 random broiler chickens were assigned with four treatments replicated three times. Three birds were assigned to each replication in a Complete Randomized Design (CRD). The results of the study were the following; birds offered with 5% PRJE were the highest on water consumption with 9.68L compared with those birds in other treatments. Birds fed using 5% PRJE in the water ration have the highest feed consumption with an average of 3.71kg consumed compared to the other treatments. The highest average live weight gain was observed in 5% PRJE with 1.67kg feed gain compared to the other treatments. Feed conversion efficiency of 2.06 was observed in birds fed with 15% PRJE was the highest compared to the other treatments. Income over feed and chick cost got the highest income Php.51.89 per head was sold in birds fed with 5% PRJE. Statistical Analysis reveals no significant difference between treatments in all parameters.
