A study on the laying performance of quails fed different levels of Cavendish fruit meal added to the commercial ration was conducted to measure specifically their effects on the feed consumption, hen-day egg production, feed conversion ratio (FCR), weight of eggs, percent mortality and economic returns. A completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in the study with three treatments replicated three times. Treatments used were Commercial Booster Mash (T1), Commercial Booster Mash with 5% Cavendish Fruit Meal (T2) and Commercial Booster Mash with 10% Cavendish Fruit Meal (T3). There were 4 birds in each replication. Quails on treatment 1 shows the highest feed consumption (580g/bird), in terms of egg production the highest production was in treatment 2 (63.61%). In egg weight treatment 1 showed the heaviest (8.94g) egg producer. The most efficient feed converter was treatment 2 (375.82 g/dozen eggs). Cost and return analysis shows treatment 2 got the highest income (Php 16.95). Study reveals that a non-significant difference to all the treatments. In terms of producing of eggs, I would recommend treatment 2 and if you want to earn I would highly recommend treatment 2 because it showed that 5% of CFM had the highest income than treatment 1 and 3.
