The study was conducted to determine the effects of different levels of Acacia(Samanea sama) Leaf Meal (ALM) on the feed consumption, live weight gain, feed conversion efficiency, mortality rate, and income over feed and chick costs of Kabir Chicken at Mindanao State University-General Santos City Campus from November 16,2019 to January 16,2020. The study was laid out in using Completely Randomized Design. Forty-eight day- old chicks were assigned in four treatments consisting of varying levels of ALM 0, 5, 10, 15% in the ration replicated three times. Birds fed without ALM consumed the highest amount of feed of 4.60 kg per bird and the lowest were those with 15 %ALM consumed 4.10 kg; those fed with 10 % consumed 4.40 kg, while birds fed with 5 % consumed 4.30 kg. Birds fed without ALM gained 1.32 kg which is the highest while those fed with 5% ALM gained 1.10 kg; those fed with 10 % gained 1.02 kg. the lowest weight birds fed with 15% gained 1.04 kg. Birds fed with 10% ALM has the poorest conversion of 4.31 while fed those without ALM were most efficient. Those fed with 15% ALM consumed 4.07 kg and 3.91 in birds with 5% ALM of feed to gain a kg of live weight. The statistical analysis for feed consumption, live weight gain, and feed conversion ratio shows no significant difference. The income over feed and chick costs of bird fed without ALM was Php 16.80, while for the birds fed with 15, 10, and 5% were Php-9.28, Php-24.40, and Php-12.64, respectively
