This paper reviews different technological developments in the past and offers a new method of controlling a lawn mower. A lawn mower is a device used to cut the grass of a lawn to an even height. It can be operated manually or by converting solar, electrical, or mechanical energies to power. This project aims to create an autonomous lawn mower that will allow the user to cut grass with minimal effort. An autonomic lawn care system would improve people's lives, and save time and effort as the task of lawn maintenance is delegated to automation. In this paper, an effort has been made to modify the old mowing and improve its efficiency and convenience through a remote-controlled lawnmowing device. Plastic has been used to make the device lighter and more portable. The control systems were designed to move forward and reverse, turn it right or left, and start and stop the device from moving. The cutter of the mower can be turned on and off as the user desires. All these new automated techniques will allow the user to control the lawn mower from a safe distance. The researchers conducted hardware and software unit tests to check the functionalities of the project systems' components. After all the tests, it was observed that the objectives of this study were achieved with necessary, but slight improvements. Overall, this study opens the door for the Philippines' undervalued potential to innovate and keep up with the global trend's advancement in the robotics industry.
