Abstract

For many years, lawn mowers serves as the beautifier of many lawns in the world. With its different types and models, lawn mower is one of many things that trends in today's innovative world. Many would prefer a motorized lawn mower rather than gas-engined one due to its effect in the environment. Technology on the other hand has a great impact in everyone's lives. Many could not imagine living without it. Every appliances, vehicular machines and gadgets were just a few of today's technology that can be operated by means of controlling, The proponents developed a control for a motorized lawn mower. The setup of this study is on wired controll therefore the speed of the mower must be put on consideration. The study used an Adruino Uno microcontroller that act as the brain of the whole system. It sent command signal to the two driving motors and cutting motor. Unit test were conducted to verify to the functionality of the modules of the system. There were also tests done to related modules in order to determine its integrability of the subsystems. The whole system went through an acceptance test in line with engineering requirements. The objectives were achieved with necessary improvements. Recomendations were stated for enhancement of the whole system.
