Abstract

The study the researchers is a digital clock with specifications on date and time that can be controlled by three buttons. The materials utilized for digital clocks are available in any local shops like tinted glass, aluminum, and LED strips. The digital clock presented in this paper has similarities in size to other existing digital clocks, however, this digital clock stands out because it has a date part of its system, unlike other ordinary digital clocks. Moreover, the researchers addressed the issue of the cooling system problems of digital clocks to ensure their safety and performance as presented in this paper. Finally, the researchers' experiments show that the functions of the digital clock are all operational: the buttons, the change of time from AM to PM, and the changing of the date and its leap year. To add finally, the cooling system of the digital clock is operational as well. Furthermore, this paper will also illustrate one of the circuits in making the digital clock designed by the researchers. It will present further components of the digital clock and the ratings or features that the researchers completed. To include, this research will present some ideas on how to make bigger display digital clocks.
