This study was conducted to determine the effects of text2teach multimedia instruction on the academic achievement of Grade Six at Kamanga Elementary School for the school year 2016-2017 The study was conducted to test the significant difference in the academic achievement of Grade Six pupils who were taught using text2teach multimedia instruction and those who were taught using traditional method of teaching without the integration of text2teach multimedia instruction in Science lessons. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest non-equivalent group design was used to conduct the study on sixty (60) Grade Six pupils of two intact classes. A validated researcher-made 40-item achievement testwas used to measure the learning gained by both the experimental and the control group The data were treated with mean standard deviation and t-test for independent samples at 0.05 level of significance. lt was found out that there is a significant difference in the academic achievement of the pupils who were taught using text2teach multimedia instruction and had a significantly greater improvement compared to the pupils who were taught in traditional method of teaching without the integration of text2teach multimedia instruction.
