A Computer Program For Air-Conditioning Cooling Load Calculations Using Java

This study aims to provide a computer program that can calculate air-conditioning cooling load by only inputting some parameters that are needed to produce a value. This application can help families, students, engineers, or anyone else who needs to buy or design suitable air-conditioners be it in their homes or for other purposes. Although there are also other calculators of the same purpose on the web, however, the use of the Internet is a must which is why this calculator has the advantage of being available even offline. This program has a lot of potential to develop into even more amazing software if it will be dedicated to some time. The program was made using Java and a database was employed to accommodate stored values. Results are compared to the conventional way of computing and it is found that the cooling load calculator can indeed be used to calculate cooling loads with a more precise value than what a conventional computation can give.
