The study was conducted to determine the effects of wet and dry feeding on feed consumption, live weight gain, feed conversion ratio and income over pig and feed cost of growing pigs from September 20 to November 18,2017 at Brgy. Katangawan, General Santos City. The study was laid out in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatments replicated three times. There are twelve growing pigs, two pigs in each treatment and replication. Treatments used were (T1) Commercial feeds added with two parts of tap water for kilogram of feed and (T2) pure commercial feeds. The result of the study showed that the feed consumption, weight gain, feed conversion ratio throughout the 60 days study were not statistically significant. In this study, the highest income over feed and starting pig cost was obtained from the pigs fed using wet feeding with an IOFPC of Php.3,196.52 against pigs fed using dry feeding with an IOFPC of Php.3,016.14.
