YIELD PERFORMANCE OF SWEET POTATO(Ipomoea batatas) AS AFFECTED BY DIFFERENT FERTILIZER TREATMENT.

The study was laid-out in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments replicated three times. The treatments were as follows: TI-Control (Goat Manure- 10t/ha), T2-50ml Fermented Fish Amino Acid/L H2O + Goat Manure (10t/ha), T3 - 50ml Fermented Lemon Grass/L H2O+Goat Manure (10t/ha), T4-50ml Fermented Azolla/L H2O+ Goat Manure(10t/ha). This study aimed to evaluate the growth and yield response of sweet potato in applying different organic fertilizers as foliar spray. This study was conducted at the research area of the college of agriculture under Mindanao State University campus at Fatima, General Santos City in July 28 to December 26,2016. The results disclosed that the Fresh weight of vines, Vine length, and Average number of marketable roots, Root Length, and Tuber Yield of marketable roots were not significantly affected by the application of Fermented Fish Amino Acid (FFAA), Fermented Lemon Grass (FLG), and Fermented Azolla (FA)compared to Control Treatment.
