EFFECTS OF GIBBERELLIC ACID(GA3)IN DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS ON THE GROWTH AND YIELD OF PECHAY（Brassica chinensis L.)

This study was conducted at Mindanao State University, General Santos City from April 2019 to May 2019 in order to evaluate the growth and yield performance of Pechay (Brassica chinensis L.) on the application of gibberellic acid at different concentration. Thus, this experiment was conducted to evaluate the growth and yield of Pechay （Brassica chinensis L.) as the application by different levels of gibberellic acid. The experiment was carried out using Randomized Complete Block Design(RCBD) with five treatments and three replications. The treatments were as follows: T1-Control （no application); T2 1 Tbsp/liter water; T3-2 Tbsp/liter water, T4-3 Tbsp/liter water, T5-4 Tbsp/liter water. The results disclosed that plant height, length of leaves weight of the plants and yield were improved by the application of gibberellic acid (Ga3). Generally, the growth and yield of pechay were markedly improved by the application of gibberellic acid (Ga3) at different concentration.
