GROWTH AND YIELD OF WATER SPINACH (Ipomoea aquatica)AS INFLUENCED BY DIFFERENT ORGANIC CONCOCTIONS

This field study was conducted at Mindanao State University,General Santos College of Agriculture research area from March to May 2017. The experiment was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments replicated five times. The treatments were composed of T1Control and T2-Fermented Plant Juice (FPJ),T3-Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ), T4- Fish Amino Acid (FAA) applied as fertilizers. The study disclosed significant effects of the organic concoctions on the plant height,shoot weight and rate of regrowth of the plant, but not on other parameter tested such as the second plant height, weight on the second priming harvest and weight of plant on the third priming.However, the organic concoction Fermented Fruit Juice appeared to have better effect over other organic concoctions in this study.
