This study entitled “Growth And Yield Of Proso White Millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) As Affected by Different Population Density” was conducted in order to determine the best population density.Treatments were grown under MSU-Fatima General Santos City condition, starting from October to November 2017. A Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used with four treatments which were replicated three times. Results revealed that the mean number of tiller and panicle per plant were significantly affected by the different population densities. While plant height (cm) showed significant difference among blocks, weight of 1000 seeds (g) and grain yield were not significantly affected by different population density per hectare. Population density of 500,000 plants per hectare got the highest number of tiller and number of panicles which indicate that wider spacing for proso white millet is appropriate to attain optimum tillering and panicle production
