The study conducted aimed to help the farmer on Malabar spinach production. This helps assess the planting material and nitrogen level recommended for Malabar spinach production. The study was conducted at Mindanao State University General Santos City, from January 5, 2019 to April 2019 in order to evaluate growth and yield performance of malabar spinach(Basella rubra L) grown from seeds and stem cutting under varying nitrogen levels. This study was laid-out in a two factor factorial experiment in Randomized complete block design(RCBD) with four treatments replicated three times. The treatment used were as follows in the levels of factor. A are seeds and stem cuttings while Factor B are T1-Control (No Application) T2-30kg/ha Urea; T3-60kg/ha Urea; T4-90kg/ha Urea. The resulting treatment combinations are as follows: T1- planted from the seeds applied with 60kg/ha urea;T4-Planted from seeds, applied with 90kg/ha urea; T5- planted from stem cutting, no fertilizer application T6-planted from stem cutting, applied with 30kg/ha urea;T7-planted from stem cutting applied with 60kg/ha Urea. The application of 60kg/ha of urea has significant effect only on the number of schools. However, Factor A have signifcantly affected all the data that have been gathered.
