The study was conducted at the field laboratory area of the College of Agriculture, Mindanao State University, General Santos City to evaluate the performance of corn as influenced by different kernel and shape. The study was conducted using the seed box method with a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments replicated five times having 12 seeds in each box. The experimental treatments were the following; Small Round Seed, Flat Seed, and Large Round Seed. The data gathered were germination percentage, number of days emergence, number of dead seeds, percentage of abnormal seeds, and plant height. The result revealed that there were highly significant differences between treatments means as to germination percentage, number of days emergence, number of dead seeds and plan height. Flat and large round seeds appeared to have better germination capacity than to the small round seeds.
