Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of natural liquid fertilizers on yield and fruit of okra. The study used a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four treatments and three replications. These were T1 (No treatment), T2 (Coconut water), T3 (Malunggay extract) and T4 (Seaweed extract). The study revealed that there were no significant differences in fruit per plant, number of marketable and non-marketable fruit per plant, fruit length, weight of non-marketable fruit per plant and fruit yield in weight of marketable fruit per plant. Based on the observation and findings, application of different natural liquid fertilizers can increase the fruit weight in okra. Thus, coconut water, malunggay extract and seaweed extract can be an organic fertilizers for okra.
