This study is qualitative in nature that employs content analysis. The study utilized Cultural approach using Said's theory of Orientalism in discussing the two opposing perspectives in terms of power to politics and ideology also the effects of power to the one who is controlling it as presented in the Korean TV Series, Doctor Stranger The rest of the study have led to specific findings that South Korea in terms of power in politics as shown in the characteristics of the Prime Minister despite his selfish motives in using his influence in police still their government is concerned for the welfare of their people and the citizen were allowed to protest and ask questions while in North Korea they used their power in politics in abusing the rights of the citizen through controlling them which resulted in shooting and ling them they question the government laws and rules. In terms of their ideological power, both South and North we similar in believing their oath that to die in serving their country is noble, though the principle of the military officer are different since the North Korean Military will kill the citizens who commit mistake while in South Korea the government will do the due process of law before they will sentence the punishment to a South Korean citizen Thus, power tool had corrupted the Prime Minister of the South and the Commander of the North which led them to their downfall as the Prime Minister was imprisoned while the Commander was assassinated that ended their tyranny.
