Several researchers were conducted separately on the effect of vermicast of coconut water alone but the effect of the mixture of the two was not yet reported. The field experiment on the effect of different levels of vermicast with coconut water on the performance of pechay” was conducted at Brgy. Campawan, Baganga, Davao Oriental, from August to September 2020, with the following objectives: (1) to determine the effect of different levels of vermicast with coconut water on the performance of pechay and (2) to determine which combination of treatment is good for the performance of pechay. The experimental design used was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four (4) treatments replicated three times. The treatments were as follows: Tl-control (60-20-20 kgs. NPK/ha), T2-5 tha vermicast with coconut water (20%), T3-7 Uha vermicast with coconut water (20%) and T4-10 t/ha vermicast with coconut water (20%). The application of different levels of vermicast with coconut water was highly significant on the number of leaves, weight of marketable plants, and yield of pechay. Plant treated with 60-20-20 kgs. NPK/ha (TI) obtained the highest values in terms of plant height (32.73cm), number of leaves (11.6), weight of marketable plants (233.83g). and yield of pechay (0.54t/ha). While T2-5 t/ha vermicast with 20% coconut water obtained the lowest values in terms of plant height (26.46cm), number of leaves (8.76). weight of marketable plant (97.5g), and yield (0.22t/ha). However, T3-7 t/ha vermicast with 20% coconut water was the optimum level of vermicast with coconut water applied on pechay. Based on the result the different levels of vermicast with coconut water showed improvement in vegetative growth of the pechay and it was remarkable. The study would also serve as basic information in knowing the beneficial effects of different levels of vermicast with coconut water on the growth and yield of pechay.
