Coin Operated Wireless Internet Connection

This study presented a Coin Operated Wireless Internet Provider (COWIP). COWIP is designed to based on existing systems in the market. Through LCD, the user can see the username and password that the user can use the internet. Functions of the system and generation of needed information is accessible by the use of an arcade button. This study also presented the use of Captive Portal, communications between the router and micro-controller (nodemcu). The COWIP presented is tested using Old and New Denominations of Philippine Peso Coins. The pricing (peso/minute) is also configurable to adjust according to the desired income of the owner. This is an income generating system. With knowledge of the propenents about the codes in Adruino IDE , the communication between Mikrotic router and Node MCU is possible.
