"PERFORMANCE OF LETTUCE (Lactuca sativa) IN DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLD COMPOSTS "

The study on "PERFORMANCE OF LETTUCE (Lactuca sativa) IN DIFFERENT HOUSEHOLD COMPOSTS" was conducted at Mindanao State University - Fatima Campus, General Santos City from July to August 2021. A Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used in this study with 4 treatments replicated 4 times. The treatments are as follows: T1 - Plain soil (control); T2 - Vermicomposts; T3- Effective Microorganisms composts; T4 - Trichoderma
harzianum.
Results revealed that the different household composts were not significantly affected the number of leaves, width, leaf area index and fresh weight of the plant. Therefore, the composts treatments are comparable to the plain soil (control). However, it is also possible that the composts applied was not enough.
